Progress Reports from chapter in Sydney, Australia

The following text is a condensed version of several reports received from our chapter in Sydney, Australia, over the previous two months. Don’t be put off by its length. (The full text runs about 9 pages.) If you want to know how to build membership, this will be well worth your time. It is loaded with original concepts and the spirit of experimentation that are an important part of the Freedom Force method, as described in paragraph 1 of our Code of Conduct. So, get a pad and pencil for notes, find a comfortable chair, grab a favorite beverage, and enjoy. This will definitely brighten your day.

John Wilson of www.rightsandwrong.com.au attended our last meeting and he was impressed enough to agree to come back to all future recruitment and general business evenings. He also volunteered enthusiastically to talk about why he values freedom and Freedom Force, and he'll give a talk, no doubt, about Common Law, trial by jury etc.

We are organising a protest at a big media event that happens once a year. The Judges walk through town in all there wigs and robes. We hope to let them (and hopefully the media) hear OUR message loud and clear.

This weekend, I and Peter start running market stalls. Time to go to the people directly and see what makes them tick and what wins them to our message. Should be a challenge and a lot of fun also. Many years ago I worked at the markets selling jewelry, silver, and handicrafts that I picked up on expeditions in Peru, Mexico and Guatemala. You've probably seen similar trinkets in the USA. I did find some beautiful originals occasionally mind you! I also had many things made to my specifications. It was such a pleasure working with the Indian craftsmen and women, but selling at markets was hard work for small reward. But it was a great intro to business and marketing for me.

The plan is to make this profitable. The more cash we take in, the more we can do for freedom. We will sell a lot of products. All related to freedom and health. Maybe even apricot kernels. Peter has a source for organic kernels, and they are very good. Coconut oil is said to be the best eating and cooking oil, so we'll probably sell that. Many such original products. The idea is to make sure this will be a profitable venture. The store will probably be called “The Truth” Not to be confused with Pravda! We will have a reading corner for people to relax, we will sell fresh cold drinking coconuts with a straw, ready to go, as something a little original and fun, and we'll have books, DVD's, and even great big quality chefs knives at a very low price, just $7, which is a bargain here, especially when you see the quality of these things. The knives will be used on site to open coconuts of course, and useful in the home.

Both Peter and I are cooking enthusiasts. One day we may expand this idea into a freedom store/restaurant, even a chain of stores if the model works. We'll see. Many such multi-concept restaurants are leading the way these days. Plain old restaurants tend to struggle. People want a feast for all senses. You can read a book before, after, or during a meal and buy products as well as food. We will base the health side in large part on the works of Dr Weston A. Price. Peter is the expert in this field.

A large share of profits will go towards our work in FF. Any FF materials we sell, the majority will certainly go to FF after any outgoings. We will promote FF products very actively at the stall. We will also use this as a recruitment platform and plan to test all possible methods till we find what works best to that end. Different strategies for different people, of course. Some may take months or years to come around, but we'll do a good job planting the seeds of freedom.

We will be at the markets on average 5-6 days a week and, once we get an effective systemised turn-key operation, we may invite others to run stalls at other markets. We'll test all new markets first ourselves, and we can later take such a concept to markets all over Australia. We already have FF members who wish to come along to help as volunteers. That's a great way for them to practice communicating our ideas with the public, and also a chance to promote FF products and information.

We plan to stock World Without Cancer, Jekyll Island, and The Reality Zone Archives on CD audio. Two favorites Ryan wants us to sell at meetings areThe Politics of Cancer Therapy and The Federal Reserve as a good introduction. I'll need to look at other products we may wish to stock. I see a lot of new material coming online at Reality Zone. Looks great. The idea is to educate, so people then understand the need for a group such as FF.

We'll do well. As our ideas start proving themselves, we'll share what works and help in any way we can to get some major global pockets of freedom growing: cells of Freedom Force rising up around the world. That vision is all I need for my inspiration to give this all I've got. Everything is going better than I could have hoped for. I think some angels are looking down on us!

(A week later, Paul sent the following personal email to everyone on the Freedom Force list.)

Welcome back. Yes it's true.

We want you to be a part of the solution as we roll out our plan to introduce Social justice, Harmony and Happiness into our community. The phasing in has already started. You'll see below that we are on our way to creating a better society based on principles of Freedom and Social Justice.

What we are doing today has never been done before. The reason for this is that there was never an organisation like Freedom Force in existence before. Thankfully for all who value freedom, Freedom Force is rising up on every continent. We will be making our presence felt around the globe soon enough.

Yes, it's coming up to the third Wednesday of the month. This Wednesday, 18 Jan is the night it all happens. What Time? 6.45pm Start, 9pm Close. You are welcome to stay back afterwards for discussions. (The location was listed.) If you need directions, call me on 0421 284 444.

Freedom Force Info Evenings are held on: 1st Wednesday of every Month. Next Info Evening is on Wednesday, 1 Feb. Mark your diary.

Freedom Force ACTION Meetings: 3rd Wednesday of each month. This Wednesday night we'll be covering initiatives that members and/or standing committees are currently involved in developing such as:

Formation of our Association as a legal Not For Profit entity. The goal is full transparency, accountability and stability over the long term.

Information and recruitment stalls. Held every week at markets across Sydney. Starting in Bondi next weekend. This should be interesting, as we'll be heading out to meet (and start to wake up) the good people in our communities.

Film and discussion nights are in R & D mode. Some very promising leads being developed. This will be much more than just “a movie on the couch at Joe's place.” We are talking big-screen professional productions, with the Freedom Force message included of course.

Discuss the possibility of working with the Hemp Industry to garner their support for our work and, in turn, to support them. If ever a conspiracy was hatched to destroy a many-thousand year old industry, this has to be one of the best examples around. Rebuilding the hemp industry can help solve many of our health and environmental ills. Hemp has an amazing story, and the fabric beats cotton hands down for protecting the environment, softness, strength and durability. Anti-bacterial and mould resistant too. Bet you didn't know that? Well I didn't until a few weeks ago. Learn all about it Wednesday.

What are Freedom Force Action Meetings?

As you probably know, this Wednesday is the time for our planning and general business meeting, or what we now call our Freedom Force Action Meeting. That's the best word to describe it since it's all about ACTION. The ACTION that will get this important job done. Important for each of us, for our families and for the future of our planet. Yes, this is THAT important.

Don't forget we always do everything we can to make sure everyone feels welcome and has a ball of a time as we join forces, and join hearts, to live, learn, share, contribute, and while we're at it we can defeat the “Evil Empire” on the side. You will learn how to “use the force” that is your “inner force for good.” This force within you can impact the entire planet. Together, we will harness that power.

That's the benefit I get from sending an email instead of talking face to face. I can dish out orders and, you know, ”RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.”

Have you ever truly felt that “Resistance Is futile”? If you haven't, then please check your pulse, or call an ambulance! This feeling probably came about in some degree due to propaganda from the media and other sources. Allow me to explain.

I've been to Cuba. Now I don't say America's Cuban policy is anything to be proud of, but Mr. Fidel is no saint, either. When I was planning my trip, my family said I was nuts. Dad said that he had risked all and gave up everything to escape from a Communist country to taste freedom, so why the hell did I want to visit a Communist country and taste totalitarianism voluntarily?

Once I got there, I agreed with him. I was nuts to have gone. But I had to do it. I wanted to see what I had erroneously thought was one of the last bastions of totalitarian statism. I wanted to experience the last of this failed human experiment before the whole crazy socialist paradigm crumbled into extinction. How wrong I was! How gullible I had been. How little I knew. Oh HOW I had been scammed, cheated... hoodwinked. At least now I know better.

I now realise I could have studied all the socialism (collectivism) I wanted right here, right now in my own country. A different brand, a variant of the species to be sure, but at least I could have saved all the airfare and heartache.

In Cuba... I saw crude, in-your-face propaganda on tap, 24/7, on all of the three TV Channels, that was all the locals where allowed to watch. Three channels and the only choice was propaganda or badly dubbed low-budget 1980's Brazilian soap operas. Oh give me the propaganda please! We tourists had it made. 50 satellite channels and all the trimmings. But local TV for the people was very crude. Each station had a basic propaganda reel that was wound back every 3 hours, and started all over again...I kid you not. I sat and watched for hours at a time just to see how long this winding back and starting again could go on. It never stopped. I gave up before the reels stopped repeating. Maybe they'll be the same if I go back in 5 more years? The same 10-year-old kids on the screen screaming to there school mates at assembly “Patriotism or Death”, “Viva La Revolution” and on and on it went...I thought the revolution happened in the 1950's. That's right, I get it, keep the revolution going in order to get more bang for your BANG. And brainwash as hard as you can, spay it out on fully automatic, trying to keep as many people as possible from sailing to Miami in bath tubs. “Resistance is futile, Winston.” Collectivism from cradle to the grave.

I saw the fear in people's eyes. You can't see that by reading a book. When I asked the questions that mattered, some very brave souls even spoke the truth to me in whispers, looking around in case their neighbours were listening, just like in a spy movie. They did not want to be controlled. They did not want to be told what was best for them. They did not want Fidel; and, if they knew how the USA had changed in the last 20 or 30 years, they would not want that either; but beggars can't be choosers. USA may appear the lesser of two evils. And we can't rest on our laurels here, either. We're not far behind.

After what I have learned in recent years I was surprised, shocked, dismayed to discover that we have the same basic propaganda ingredients in the mix here, only it's scientifically developed to be smooth and gentle on your skin. You probably know all of this from your own observations, but I hope you find my perspective of some benefit.

We ARE under attack!

Where are the air-raid sirens?

Where is the outrage?

Where are the people in the streets demanding that our freedoms be returned? Freedoms that have been whittled away over the past 60 years? Freedoms that others in history have shed blood to defend?

Why is the silence so deafening??????????

The answer is that we have all been conditioned to hear that voice in our heads: “Two plus two equals five, Winston. Stop fighting the truth, Winston. There is hope for you Winston”

Yes, there is hope, but it's not going to come from Big Brother. It will come from a union of hearts, spirit, thought, deed, and ACTION. No Big Brother here, only brothers and sisters coming together in Freedom Force (and our sister freedom organisations in Australia and around the world). That's where I have found my salvation from this madness going on around us.

If only Winston had Freedom Force to turn to back in 1984, maybe I would not have to be talking about this now. Maybe we would not have seen the World Trade Centre attacks on September 11? Maybe the people on those trains in Madrid and London could have been spared? Maybe we would be free from the Phantoms of Terror? Maybe we would have our freedoms restored? Our lives back the way we want them. No social engineering. Ah.... Sounds like heaven on Earth.

Freedom Force is a war-free zone, a terrorism-free zone, a Bird-Flu free zone, and so much more. We are not driven by threats, whether real or imagined. After reading the Freedom Force documents, you'll never see the daily news the same way again. You will start to understand the news on a level you never did before. You'll be exactly like a tourist in Cuba.

Thanks for coming on this exciting journey. At Freedom Force you'll meet some of the most interesting, inspiring and “alive” people you're likely to meet anywhere. That's been my experience. In just two months, I've created many new friendships that I will cherish forever. That's what life is about.

(A week later, we received this report.)

We have recently been "donated" FREE access to up to 30 seminar venues across Sydney. Many have projectors and seminar facilities. Peter has organised the venues through his contacts and has other people with serious money who are making suggestions. They will fund/support our work, which is absolutely wonderful. Many are more mature and they want their grandkids to have a bright future. They are literally cursing as they realise what has been going on. Peter’s boss is a very nice man with connections. He owned many top nightclubs, so he knows a bit about the seedy underworld and corruption in that scene, but this is still blowing his mind as he begins to absorb what Peter has been telling him.

Another professional documentary filmmaker has attended our last meeting and she was very impressed. Lovely lady, originally from Germany. More skilled people constantly coming on board to help us get the word OUT.

Exciting times.

(A few days later, we received this report.)

The markets are going AWESOME. 3 days a week. Top people are coming out of the woodwork. 95% of the people we talk to, and we almost talk non-stop, agree with us, and many buy something. 30 a day, on average, join our FF email list. We'll improve on these figures for sure. We still have a lot to do, but we'll get there little by little. No, lot by lot.

This all just keeps getting better, as I always knew it would. The stalls have renewed my faith in humanity. After just three visits to each market, we have many regulars coming back to buy more, and people's friends are coming back saying their friends told them about us. What we are doing has never been done before, and it's turning heads and bringing us a lot of attention. All good attention so far, and we'll do our best to keep it that way, without sacrificing our goals and principles though.

We have now locked in a meeting room, actually a theatre/hall with raised podium, with room for 300 people seated. Excellent sound system. It is perfect. We have booked the venue indefinitely for 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. We aim to outgrow this venue within 3-6 months in any case. That is our entire focus. Build a community, get the numbers we require to get things done.

On that note, just ended a call with a self-employed podiatrist who just stumbled upon FF web site and my email and called my number. He said he wants to start a chapter immediately in Newcastle, about 1.5 hrs north of Sydney.

The podiatrist said he's been watching this crisis coming for 25 years. He's in his 50's. If I understood him correctly, he's ready to pack up his biz altogether to build a chapter. He feels we are out of time for procrastination. The Freedom Force mission is all that matters. I agree with him!

I haven't even started to explain all the other amazing things that are happening to serve and advance the cause. There's a major awakening, a quickening going on. A quickening towards freedom is upon us.....
